Helping Jonesboro school
Saturday I was doing my blog on the Ipad in Jonesboro and couldn’t get the correct links in. Renee’s Garden is an online seed source with some great heirloom varieties. Their website is: http://www.reneesgarden.com/ (I left out an e on Saturday). They have a monthly newsletter, and this month they featured Melinda Smith’s gardening projects at the Jonesboro elementary school. It is really a wonderful project, and I wish more schools could incorporate such a program. The deal that Renee’s garden is giving to help the school is that they will give 50% of your purchase to the school at the end of the year. When ordering you need to use the code FR821C.
When any master gardener or any of your other friends uses the code at check out while buying seeds from the website– they write a check for 50% of the value of the purchase to your program at the end of the year. They track the code and at the end of the year write a check for 50% of the total value of ALL purchases who used your code- Usually they contribute 25% in these fundraising programs, but Renee changed the program for the Jonesboro school will get 50% of any purchases made using that code.
Check it out–what a great way to inspire future gardeners, and better eating!
Will be placing an order today. Thanks for the heads up!
Many thanks!
