Nursery Tour and rain!
Thank goodness we didn’t have today’s weather yesterday. While I love the rain, and we needed some, it would have been miserable yesterday. We were blessed with weather, good volunteers and a great day! We have unloaded most of our stuff and our offices look even worse than before. Jon Z is trying to make me feel better or just pointing out that my office is a disaster–but that is not unusual –
Since I tend to look on the positive side, I must be a genius!
This morning I did the Channel 7 morning show at 6 a.m. I talked about our MG program–look for a feature story on it this Saturday in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. After the show, I picked up our speaker from yesterday, Flowerwood’s Tom Smith. We did the grand Little Rock nursery tour so he could see what we have to offer and meet the nurserymen. We got in Good Earth, Cantrell Gardens, Green Tree, Horticare, River Valley, Hocott’s and Botanica before the rain got too bad. Fall color was plentiful at all our stops, along with some fun decorations.
Tom took off for Memphis and I headed to the office. Tomorrow is Texarkana and Thursday is an all day seminar in Forrest City.
