We checked into the Royal George in downtown Perth which is a quaint hotel.

We had a parade that went past our hotel last night.

We left the hotel this morning with bright blue skies and full sun.

Our first stop was a private garden called Parkhead. It was about an acre packed with plants. It was spectacular! I saw more varieties of clematis that I have ever seen in one garden.

I also fell in love with her primroses and

There was so much to see and such a diverse mix of plants, it was hard to take it all in.

While we toured the gardens, our dedicated driver Stewart, made sure our windows had no smudges for all our photos.

We have had some great drivers on past tours, but he is THE BEST! , and not just for his window duty!
We left Parkhead and had a quick lunch stop, with aneighboring nursery.

Then it was on to Drummond Castle. It was a similar castle to what we had been seeing.

We saw their vegetable gardens and glasshouses. They have to grow their tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and peaches indoors to be able to harvest!

The gardens were large and very manicured.

Then we got a special treat thanks to Stewart. We went by Gleneagles Golf Course which will be the home to the Ryder Cup golf tournament later this summer. Pretty neat to. See the course now and buy souveniers. They are beefing up analready stunning course for this event.
