Planning and more planning

If you have ever hosted a large or small conference, or even a party, you know that the more planning you do, the better organized you will be and the better the event will come off. While you can’t foresee everything that will happen, planning gives you a better chance. Tonight was our monthly planning session for the 2015 State MG conference, and things are falling into place nicely. We have a great core group of volunteers who are leading the charge, with the back-up of their members. Mark your calendars now, because you won’t want to miss this one, and we only have 500 slots open. The dates are June 4-6, 2015. Registration doesn’t open until February 1, but local hotels are taking reservations. With the MG program growing larger each year, events fill up more quickly, and this will be our first centrally located conference in quite a few years.saline county planning sept8 (2)

We read evaluations, and one thing we always hear, is more hands on things to do, so the group is working diligently to come up with ideas of some creative ideas for our opening day. Stay tuned for more as time gets closer.\

We also got to help Raymond celebrate his birthday today–not much cake was left to go home with him!
