Redo of Frost is on the Pumpkin

I wrote the following post last night, but when I hit publish, an old post got published instead. All I saw in my email and on Facebook is the old one about flooding. This was the one that was supposed to go from my iPad. Interestingly enough, Mary got both posts on her iPad in Berryville, but I did not, so sorry if you are getting it twice. Technology can be confusing at times.

While the saying is more for fall, the frost was heavy this morning on my vegetables before I headed to the office.

The temperature was actually not as low this morning as yesterday, but the clear, still conditions provided a lot more frost on the plants.

My car doors had issues as well. One was frosted shut and one would not close after I opened it! I have not been home to check on my plants, but hope the made it through after they defrosted. I am glad I covered some of the more tender ones.

I made a quick stop in the office before heading north to Carroll County. We had our last meeting before we go live February 1st.

We had good participation, and it is down to getting the i’s dotted and the t’s crossed now.
