Springtime at Garvan, planning and meeting– a busy Monday

It was pretty nippy this morning as I drove to Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs and I was glad I had my gloves with me as we zipped around the gardens on the golf cart. If you were out in the sunlight, it wasn’t bad, but in the shade it was cold. We taped 5 tv spots and the gardens look amazing. They still have a lot of tulips, and even thought they peaked a couple of weeks ago, I do not think you will be disappointed with the display now. tulips mar28 (5)

The snapdragons are divine with both short and tall varieties. snapdragons (2)

I left the gardens and headed to the Doubletree in downtown Little Rock for a planning session with the Pulaski County Master Gardeners. We had a lot to get accomplished and it looks like from these pictures that people were taking things very seriously! planning pulaski co (1)

I pulled out of downtown at 5 and made a beeline for Malvern to be the speaker for the Hot Spring County Master Gardener meeting. hot spring county mar16 We talked gardening and MG policies, with a lot of good discussion. Then it was a drive home. When I finish this, I am going to bed. I am pooped!

Tomorrow is MG training in Batesville.
