We had a full day of MG Annual to Perennial events. We started out at the Johnson County Fairgrounds (Clarksville) with an event with 9 counties in attendance   annual to perennial june21 (2) annual to perennial june21 (4) annual to perennial june21 (5) annual to perennial june21 (7) annual to perennial june21 (10) annual to perennial june21 (11) annual to perennial june21 (12) and ended in Pulaski County with our largest crowd and multiple counties from across the state..  annual to perennial june21 (13) annual to perennial june21 (15) annual to perennial june21 (16) annual to perennial june21 (19) annual to perennial june21 (20) annual to perennial june21 (21) annual to perennial june21 (22) At both sites, the room was set and ready, with great refreshments and welcoming hosts. I am so blessed to have such outstanding volunteers to handle all the details of our events.

So far we have been able to reach over 200 new volunteers and/or their mentors.  While it may be hard on the speakers (Lelia and I) to travel so much, I think it is nice to reach out and come in contact with local counties.  We have learned a few things that we will change for next year, and a statewide evaluation may give us more insight, but I think this first year program is a success and should be repeated. Tomorrow morning is our last event in Batesville.  After that, Lelia will drive home and I will head to Mt. Magazine–should be an interesting drive.

What a wonderful presentation from Janet & Lelia. This was a wonderful idea for the new master gardeners! Thanks
