Chandor & Clark gardens to wrap up the conference.

Today was the final sessions of the SR MG conference. Native Texan Barry Corbin entertained us for the closing session.

We then loaded into the bus for a ride to Weatherford, Texas and Chandor Gardens. The weather was overcast, but no rain and cooler temperatures.

We saw some very old crape myrtles and boxwoods.

There were some interesting water features and some quirky art.

We loaded back up and drove a short distance to Clark Garden where the gardens founder is now the director. She gave us a lovely guided tour.

It was a large garden and we had limited time, so we moved at a quick pace.

There are huge collections of iris, cannas and daylilies as well as one of the largest historic tree collections.

It has been a packed day, but we will probably get back to the hotel later than planned, which delays my exit, but at least I will get home tonight. It has been a great trip, visiting with Master Gardeners from many of the southern states and my counterparts.
